Privacy Policy

The short version

Dealivery is built around collecting as little personal data as possible. We don't ask for your name, email, or account. Photos you snap are sent to xAI for product identification and are not stored on our servers. We don't run analytics or advertising trackers.

What we collect

• Photos you upload via Snap. Held in memory only for the duration of the request, then discarded. Not written to disk, not logged, not retained.
• Chat messages you send to the in-app xAI assistant. Forwarded to xAI to generate a reply. Not stored by us.
• Connection metadata (IP address, user agent). Used in memory only, for the duration of a request, to throttle abuse. Hashed and held briefly so a single client can't drain our API budget. Never written to disk by us.
• Wishlist items you save are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device.

What we don't collect

• Names, emails, accounts, or passwords (we don't have accounts).
• Payment information (we don't process payments).
• Cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising.
• Location data.

Third parties

To make the app work, we send certain data to:

• xAI (api.x.ai). Receives your photos and chat messages to generate product matches and replies. xAI's privacy practices are governed by their privacy policy. xAI may retain API inputs for up to 30 days for safety and abuse review. We have no further control over their retention.
• Retailer websites. When you click "Buy at...", you leave Dealivery and land on the retailer's own site. We don't share data with them; their own privacy policy then applies.

Cookies

Dealivery uses one strictly-necessary cookie to remember that you've dismissed the cookie notice. That's it. No tracking cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels.

Your rights

Because we don't keep personal data, there's not much for you to access, export, or delete on our side. If you have a question about our use of xAI, or want a record of our processing, email us. See Contact below.

Children

Dealivery isn't designed for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any change.
